Sweet ReLeaf Wins Best Cannabis Health & Wellness Topical – Emerald Mag

April 2, 2019                                                          Contact: Nancy Birnbaum, Russian River PR     M: (707) 978-0610

Sacramento, CALIF., April 2, 2019 //Russian River PR//– Sweet Releaf has been named “Best Cannabis Health & Wellness Product” by Emerald Magazine. In the March 2019 issue, Emerald Magazine shared their picks based on reader feedback for the “Best of 2018” covering 25-plus categories of Cannabis products.

“We’re thrilled to have been chosen by Emerald Magazine as the Best Health & Wellness Product,” shared Sweet Releaf founder, Didi Davis. “It’s important that people have products they can trust to help them with their pain.

”Our topicals deliver, ‘Help Where It Hurts, Without the High,’” says Davis, “because the skin absorbs the cannabis before reaching the bloodstream.  You treat just the painful area and can still work without impairment.”

This women & family owned brand is devoted to product innovation, care, and quality. Created for a loved one after years of opioids for debilitating pain from spinal injuries, they take pain seriously. Their THC-rich formula is a natural alternative for chronic pain that can bring localized relief, restoring balance to painful conditions reassuringly fast and with pinpoint accuracy.  All ingredients are naturally sourced, the cannabis is sun grown in the Emerald Triangle, repeatedly tested and certified clean.

Cannabis is surprisingly effective and quick at treating pain in muscles, joints, skin conditions, and inflammation. In a recent study titled “Cannabinoids in the Management of Difficult to Treat Pain” in the Journal of Therapeutics and Clinical Risk Management (NIH), researchers found that THC has twenty times the anti-inflammatory potency of aspirin and twice that of hydrocortisone. Given their multi-modality effects… the efficacy and safety profiles to date of specific preparations in advanced clinical trials, and the complementary mechanisms and advantages of their combination with opioid therapy, the future for cannabinoid therapeutics appears very bright indeed.”

“It feels intuitive to get relief by applying medicine directly to part of your body that hurts,” Didi relates, “rather than medicating the entire body by eating or smoking it.”

Sweet Releaf products are available in dispensaries across California. Locations can be viewed at

Just released: Sweet Releaf’s Comfort Dry Oils have been specially formulated for deep pain relief. Rooted in Ayurvedic medicine, it consists of a carefully chosen blend of healing herbs and essential oils to address pain and inflammation. The two blends, Warming and Cooling, are designed to ease pain while also helping the body regulate its temperature and function. The handy roll-on applicator allows for ease in application and leaves no oily residue, hence “Dry Oils.”
